To follow on from my last post (beyblade toppers) is this beyblade cake. All the boys at the party loved it and practically fought over who got to eat the beyblades! My son was very proud of this cake especially since he helped make it with me!
My eldest son requested a beyblade cake for his birthday last year which ended up being quite a challenge!
I decided to make silver beyblades to go around the cake and some red ones for the cupcake toppers. I used a beyblade (washed of course) to imprint the pattern onto some rolled out white fondant. I then used a sharp knife to cut the edges to be “spikey”. Once the Beyblades were all cut I used my luster dust and orange essence to paint them silver. My birthday boy got to get in on the painting and helped me with this part which was pretty special!
